Lead the conceptualization and redesign for the Coop Hydro line of products. Collaborated with packaging engineer to reconfigure dielines and worked with printing partners in China to develop an affordable 5-color, direct-to-corrugate print process.

The new packaging hit shelves in February of 2018. In June of that same year, Target Corporation, our largest retailer at the time, reported a 20% year-over-year increase in sales, which was attributed to the redesigned packaging.

The previous packaging for this line of products featured smooth curves, a repeating pattern created from the Coop logo, a singular, de-saturated lifestyle shot, and a full wrap print.

The refreshed packaging featured layered lifestyle photography and elements of strong angular white and black lines to help draw attention to the product and the brand name as well as to help divide the space.

The refreshed packaging utilized a direct five-color printing process on corrugated cardboard, allowing the natural look of the cardboard to shine through areas where ink was not present. The dielines were reconfigured to more angular cuts to complement the new design.
